How apps are selected

footyapps is editorially curated. Apps are discovered through research, community submissions, and industry coverage. Every app is reviewed before listing. We focus exclusively on football and soccer apps and tools — if it isn't related to the beautiful game, it won't appear here.

Community submissions

Anyone can suggest an app via the Submit page. Submissions are reviewed by our team for relevance, quality, and legitimacy before being added to the directory.

How reviews work

Reviews are submitted anonymously and moderated before publication. We check for relevance, spam, and quality. Reviews must reflect genuine user experiences — we do not accept fabricated or incentivised reviews.

What verified means

A "verified" badge means the app's company has claimed their listing and confirmed their identity. It does not imply editorial endorsement — it simply indicates the company behind the product has been authenticated.

What promoted means

Promoted listings are paid placements from companies on our Pro plan. They are always clearly labelled. Promoted status does not affect ratings or rankings.

How rankings work

On category and "best of" pages, apps are ranked by user rating and community votes. Promoted status does not influence ranking position. Comparison pages show objective, side-by-side data to help you make informed decisions.

Editorial independence

Our editorial content — guides, comparisons, and reviews — is independent of commercial relationships. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored". We never accept payment for positive reviews or rankings.
